Pastor Jeremy and Crystal Hyde

Senior Pastors
Pastor Jeremy and Crystal Hyde are the Senior Pastors of Encounter Church in Fredericksburg, Virginia. They have been in full-time ministry for over 28 years. Since the fall of 2015, the church has grown under their leadership as Senior Pastors.

As a leadership couple, Jeremy and Crystal are deeply committed to empowering others to walk in their God-given purpose. Whether through preaching, mentorship, or outreach, their united vision is to create a place where all people can encounter God and live the life found in Christ.

Pastor Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Divinity and is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. They have two incredible children: a son, Josiah, and a daughter Lexie.

Our Mission:
We exist to be a place where all people can encounter God and experience life in Christ.

Encounter, Equip, and Engage

We believe this mission is best accomplished when we Encounter God through worship, when we Equip by teaching and preaching the principles of faith found in the Word of God, and when we Engage in service to one another, our community, and the world through God’s love.
